"GoodCities’ City Impact Accelerator brought new connections between the Salvation Army and the Mayor’s Office that will increase our effectiveness as we serve among the poor in Miami. This time made us better leaders by creating new community processes for positive change, building stronger community relationships, setting specific goals and engaging the community to help set them, developing public/private collaboration approaches involving business, donors, philanthropy, nonprofits, congregations and our local government. GoodCities guided us in making plans to better our community by helping people to rediscover hope resulting in positive changes in lives."
Ray Barreto, Business Leader; Miami, Florida

“GoodCities’ City Convene is one of the few places where men and women who are passionate about impacting their cities can gather with like-minded leaders to listen and learn from each other. The knowledge shared and friendships made are invaluable. City Convene creates space to hear from God and one another. It’s a place to learn emerging ‘best practices’ from the leaders of the growing numbers of Gospel movements in cities across the US.”
Kevin Palau, President of The Luis Palau Evangelistic Association

“I was inspired by the presentations I heard at City Convene. The manner in which the information was presented took advantage of several adult learning styles. I appreciated not just having one lecturer after another.”
Judge Carla Moore, Love Akron

"We were blessed to participate in the GoodCities City Impact Accelerator, representing Orange and Osceola Counties in the Orlando Salvation Army Command. GoodCities allowed us to engage with key leaders like Lisa Frittelli, Homeless Advisor to the Mayor of Orlando, and Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry. Thanks to this event, we secured $1 million for a Landlord to Tenant Program from Osceola County and have $10 million in additional projects in progress. The time spent with these leaders was invaluable in sharing our mission. GoodCities offers incredible opportunities for Commands to grow, focus, and connect with community leaders."
Captain Ken Chapman, Orlando Area Salvation Army Commander

"The Salvation Army hired GoodCities to guide us through the beginning collaboration effort to end functional homelessness in Kansas City. In September, we had our third and final meeting with Reggie and Glenn from GoodCities guiding us and are now prepared to “fly on our own”. Their leadership has made an eternal impact on those we serve in the Metro Kansas City area."
Kelly Collins, Salvation Army Major Divisional Commander Kansas/Western Missouri

"I appreciated the adult learning perspective that GoodCities offers. Glenn and others did a great job facilitating, and not just presenting. It was a great opportunity to meet new friends and hear what other cities are doing."

“In my experience, a common thread of city movements is that they live and die on the quality of relationships. City Convene does this on a national level. I built relationships with leaders from other cities in a way that encourages my soul as I got to see the handiwork of God across the US.”
Dr. Brad Greene, PhD. - Gridwell, Knoxville, TN
