Dr. Reggie McNeal serves as City Coach for GoodCities, where he passionately supports leaders, Christian organizations, and communities in achieving significant Kingdom-impact wins. In his role, Reggie collaborates with leaders across the country to build cross-sector partnerships that address critical societal issues. His coaching and consultation empower individuals and teams to develop mission-focused, Kingdom-centered strategies for ministry.

Reggie has made a lasting impact on church leadership, both as a sought-after speaker and a prolific author. His books, which have helped shape the conversation on church leadership and missional living, include:

Reggie brings over two decades of local church leadership experience, including his role as a founding pastor. He has also served as a denominational executive and leadership development coach, lecturing as adjunct faculty at seminaries such as Fuller Theological, Southwestern Baptist, and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. His expertise has been sought by the U.S. Army Chief of Chaplains Office, the Chaplains’ Training School, and the Air Force Education and Training Command. Reggie’s reach extends to the business world, including work with The Gallup Organization, and he serves on advisory boards for several ministry organizations. He was also the Missional Leadership Specialist with Leadership Network for a decade and continues to contribute as a Senior Fellow.

Reggie holds a B.A. from the University of South Carolina and both an M.Div. and Ph.D. from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Cathy, reside in Columbia, South Carolina.
