Steven Capper

Steve Capper is a now retired Episcopal priest living in a mostly rural community 30 miles south of Ft. Worth (TX) serving individuals and congregations as a Coach and Consultant through Alignment Coaching. Over a 41 year period he pastored congregations in El Paso (TX), Speedway (IN) and Houston (TX) as well as an evangelism and renewal consultant for the Anglican Diocese in Tasmania, Australia. Beginning in 2003 Steve was a staff member and then Executive Director of Mission Houston for a total of 11 years where he was also a co-founder of two entities birthed out of Mission Houston, Faithwalking and For Houston's Kids. He served CitiReach International and then GoodCities for a dozen years as a consultant to cities and organizations in the U.S. and Africa eager to foster a uniting of the Body of Christ. His last assignment prior to retirement was serving 7 years as the pastor and Executive Director of a ministry and church with and for the homeless in downtown Houston called Lord of the Streets. Steve and his wife, Karen celebrated 50 years of marriage in July 2024. They have 3 children, each of whom is married, and 6 grandchildren.
